What flooring solutions does Deco Crete offer?2026-10-07T15:31:52+07:00

Deco Crete provides a range of polished concrete flooring solutions. The core systems include:

TOPSHEELD: A polished concrete solution for new construction projects, transforming standard concrete slabs into hard, durable, and aesthetically superior polished floors.

RETRO SHEELD: A restoration and rehabilitation solution for deteriorated, cracked, or delaminated concrete floors — without demolition, at a lower cost than full replacement.

AGGREGATE SHEELD: An exposed aggregate polishing solution that reveals the decorative effect of the aggregate within the concrete, suitable for warehouses, factories, car parks, showrooms, commercial spaces, and architectural interiors.

COLOR SHEELD: A solution for long-lasting colour retention using Deco Crete’s decoTOPFLOOR dry-shake system. After applying decoTOPFLOOR, the floor can be polished and hardened with liquid hardeners such as decoSIL, decoSOD, or decoLIT, then protected with decoFINISH, decoFINISH-LP, or decoSTAINSTOP.

CURE SHEELD: A solution with the shortest process and the most cost-effective approach.

Where is Deco Crete located?2026-10-07T15:26:54+07:00

Office and warehouse: 1484 Nguyen Duy Trinh Street, Long Truong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Deco Crete serves clients nationwide and has application partners across multiple international markets: Southeast Asia, UAE, and Europe including Russia, the Netherlands, and Latvia.

How many steps does the Deco Crete polished concrete application process involve?2026-10-07T15:34:00+07:00

The standard process comprises 6 steps:

Step 1: Site Assessment — Evaluate concrete compressive strength, identify damage, voids, and surface defects.

Step 2: Rough Grinding and Levelling — Industrial grinding machines remove weak concrete, create a flat surface, and open the pore structure of the slab.

Step 3: Surface Repair — After grinding and substrate inspection, select the appropriate repair material. decoPINFIX is used when there are numerous pinholes or micro-voids requiring bulk filling; larger localised defects require an appropriate repair system such as decoGROUT or decoFIX.

Step 4: Concrete Hardening — Select the liquid hardener according to substrate quality. decoSIL is suitable for standard concrete; decoSOD is suitable for soft or porous substrates. For dense, high-quality concrete with low porosity, decoLIT may be considered.

Step 5: Fine Grinding and Multi-Stage Polishing — Each stage progressively increases surface gloss.

Step 6: Protective Sealer Application — Products such as decoFINISH, decoFINISH-LP, or decoSTAINSTOP are applied to provide stain resistance, moisture resistance, and long-lasting gloss retention.

Is polished concrete more durable than epoxy coating?2026-10-07T15:32:48+07:00

Yes. Epoxy coatings typically delaminate after a few years in heavy industrial environments and require periodic reapplication. Polished concrete floors correctly treated with Deco Crete’s hardeners and protective sealers can achieve a service life of 15–20 years, with no surface film susceptible to peeling, as the treatment works from within the concrete structure.

However, the two solutions serve different purposes. In high-load areas, a hardening and polishing system may be more suitable than certain surface coating systems, as it does not create a thick film layer that can be affected by abrasion. The appropriate solution should be selected based on the existing substrate condition, load requirements, chemical exposure, and hygiene standards of the project.

Is polished concrete suitable for food manufacturing facilities?2026-10-07T15:33:29+07:00

Yes. Polished concrete can be suitable for certain areas within food manufacturing facilities when designed and finished to the required operational standards. Suitability in terms of cleanability, stain resistance, slip resistance, and compatibility with cleaning chemicals should be assessed on a zone-by-zone basis, taking into account the facility’s own production requirements and internal standards.

How are Deco Crete products tested?2026-10-07T15:31:19+07:00

All products are independently tested by SGS and TÜV SÜD, two of the world’s leading certification and inspection organisations. Test results confirm the technical performance, safety, and environmental compliance of each product.

What is Deco Crete?2026-10-07T15:27:13+07:00

Deco Crete is a professional supplier of products and solutions for polished concrete floor finishing, serving industrial, commercial, and residential projects in Vietnam and internationally. With over 35 million m² of flooring delivered, Deco Crete has earned the trust of major corporations including Samsung, Heineken, Vinfast, LEGO, Coca-Cola, Bru Textiles, and hundreds of other industrial projects.

How long does the application take?2026-10-07T15:34:15+07:00

It depends on the floor area and extent of deterioration. For facilities in active operation, work can be carried out in rotating sections to avoid disrupting production.

What product lines does Deco Crete offer?2026-10-07T15:30:30+07:00

Deco Crete supplies an integrated product system across three main groups:

Group 1 — Hardeners:

decoSIL: A premium lithium silicate hardener. decoSIL penetrates deeper and more effectively into the concrete structure, reacting with a greater volume of CSH to produce a significantly denser and harder surface.

decoLIT: A lithium silicate-based concrete hardener suited to high-quality concrete with high density and low porosity. It offers fast penetration, supports increased surface density, improves abrasion resistance, and reduces dust generation during operation.

decoSOD: A high-concentration sodium silicate hardener designed for concrete surfaces with poor quality, high porosity, or uneven compressive strength — suitable for old concrete floors, porous surfaces, and substrates requiring hardening prior to grinding and finishing.

Group 2 — Repair Products:

decoPINFIX: Used to bulk-fill pinholes, micro-voids, and fine cracks on the surface during the appropriate polishing stage.

decoFIX: Used for static holes and cracks of larger size or depth, typically 5 mm and above, in combination with decoBOND.

decoGROUT: Used for small static holes and cracks, typically 1–5 mm, in combination with decoBOND.

Group 3 — Protective Sealers (Guards):

decoFINISH: A protective and finishing sealer for polished concrete floors. It increases surface density, enhances gloss and aesthetics, reduces dust, improves stain resistance, and makes cleaning and maintenance more convenient.

decoFINISH-LP: Developed for enhanced penetration and superior resistance to oils, greases, and stains compared to decoFINISH, while delivering a bright, glossy surface finish.

decoSTAINSTOP: A breathable, penetrating protective coating for concrete and natural stone that increases hardness, gloss, and resistance to oil and stain penetration.

Does Deco Crete supply products or application services?2026-10-07T15:27:06+07:00

Both. Deco Crete supplies a specialised chemical product system for concrete floors, along with comprehensive technical support covering site assessment, consultation, construction supervision, and after-sales service. Deco Crete works directly with project owners, contractors, architects, and flooring applicators.

Is RETRO SHEELD suitable for floors previously coated with epoxy?2026-10-07T15:33:09+07:00

Yes. The old epoxy layer is fully removed during the rough grinding stage, after which the surface is prepared and treated according to the RETRO SHEELD process. This is a common solution for factory floors where the coating has delaminated after years of use.

Does the floor require maintenance after completion?2026-10-07T15:34:51+07:00

Polished concrete floors treated with Deco Crete products require very little ongoing maintenance. Regular surface cleaning and periodic re-polishing every 5–10 years are all that is needed — a significant advantage over epoxy coatings, which typically require reapplication every 3–5 years.
