CASE STUDY Hairline Crazing Cracks

decoSIL treatment during resin polishing

Case-Study-Hairline-Crazing-Cracks

APPLICATION IN PROGRESS | decoSIL is sprayed in front of the polishing machine

Project objective

Reduce the visual appearance of fine surface crazing during the polishing sequence. In this example, the hairline crazing cracks became filled or visually hidden after decoSIL treatment and follow-up resin polishing.

AFTER

Observed result

Fine surface crazing was substantially reduced in appearance. Always make a sample area first; the result depends on the floor
condition and polishing process.

APPLICATION SEQUENCE – decoSIL & resin polish

For superficial, static hairline crazing on a sound concrete surface

STEP 1

SPRAY decoSIL

Spray decoSIL evenly on the floor directly in front of the polishing machine.

STEP 2

POLISH IMMEDIATELY

Immediately polish with a 100-resin pad while the treated area is still being worked.

STEP 3

FOLLOW WITH 200 RESIN

Continue the polishing sequence with a 200-resin pad.

USAGE GUIDANCE

1 KG / 10 m²

EXPECTED EFFECT

Fine crazing cracks may become filled or visually hidden.

Important

This is a finish-treatment method, not a structural crack repair. Check the floor is sound and identify the cause of cracking before treatment. It is not intended for moving or structural cracks. Make a sample area first and adapt the pad sequence to the actual floor condition.
